FAQ

Common questions.

The basics on subscriptions, draws, prizes, and verification. If something here isn't answered, email support@skinflex.com.au.

How do subscriptions work?

Pick a tier on /tiers. Stripe bills you monthly; cancel any time through Stripe's customer portal from your /account page. While your subscription is active, entries land in open draws automatically — no manual claiming. If you cancel, entries already granted stay valid through the draw they were assigned to.

How do draws work?

Four scheduled cadences: weekly (small skins, all tiers), monthly (headline knife or glove, entry counts scale by tier), quarterly (Silver and Gold only — accumulating prize pool), and yearly (one per tier; Bronze, Silver, and Gold members each compete only against their own tier for that year’s headline prize). Occasional one-off special draws sit alongside the scheduled ones. Every draw runs on a published schedule. When the entry window closes, a winner is selected via the provably-fair scheme described on /how-it-works.

How are prizes delivered?

Through Steam trade. Skins live in a Skinflex-controlled Steam account; when you win, you supply your Steam trade URL and we send the item from our vault to your inventory. Steam's standard 7- or 15-day trade hold applies depending on whether you have Mobile Authenticator enabled — that's a Steam policy, not ours. We never ask for your Steam credentials.

How do I cancel?

Sign in, go to /account, click "Manage subscription". That opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel, change plans, or update your payment method. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; entries already granted stay valid through their draws.

What countries are supported?

Skinflex memberships are open to members worldwide. Stripe handles billing globally; your card or wallet simply needs to support international payments. Skinflex operates as an Australian company under Australian consumer and fair-trading law. Some promotions or prizes (for example, physical prize delivery) may be limited to specific regions — any such restriction will be stated in that draw's rules.

What payment methods are accepted?

Anything Stripe accepts in your region: major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link. We do not handle card details directly — Stripe Checkout collects them, we never see your full card number.

What happens if I am under 18?

Membership requires being 18 or older (or the higher legal age where you live). If we determine that you don't meet the age requirement, we'll cancel the subscription, refund the most recent payment, and void any pending entries. We'd rather not take the money than have to unwind a draw later.

How do I verify a draw was fair?

Every drawn or completed draw has a public receipt at /verify/<slug>. The page recomputes the winner in your browser — Web Crypto SHA-256 against the same inputs the engine recorded. You don't have to trust us; the math runs in front of you. See /how-it-works for the underlying scheme.
